Community Members: PLI needs your support!

Volunteer at PLI
There are many roles that PLI could use community support in: from project tutors to art instructors and technical support to extra curricular activity leadership.
Words of encouragement from PLI community members?
Allow PLI students to volunteer or do job shadows at your business
Having students volunteer in the community helps students to develop their job skills, mature individually, gain responsibility, and be better citizens. What do PLI students say about their community service experiences??
Businesses benefit as well: The value of a volunteer’s time for 2007 has been estimated at $19.51 per hour according to a new study done by the Independent Sector.1

Be a resource for students to use while completing projects
If you are an expert, business owner, or individual trained in Milwaukee, our students need you! As a community resource, you will be asked to answer questions students may have to further their own learning and possibly facilitate student projects within the community.
