There are a few options for organization. Some students prefer to use the binder method, other students prefer notebooks and folders, and some prefer the hanging folder system.

Binder Method:

2 large 3 ring binders
2 sets of 8 Tab dividers
3 packs of loose-leaf

Notebook/Folder Method:

9 notebooks (per quarter)
9 folders (per quarter)
2 packs of loose-leaf
It makes sense for these to be matching ie. Yellow folder and Yellow notebook for Social Studies.

File Folder Method:

1 Box of Manila Tabbed File Folders
1 Box of Hanging File Folders
3 packs of loose-leaf

General Supplies:

10 pack CDRW discs or 10 floppy discs or “Jump Drive” or “Flash Drive”
2 boxes of Kleenex (1 for their desk, one for the school supply)
2 rolls of paper towel
Calculator (graphing calculator optional)
3 pkgs. of copy paper (2 packs for school supply)
protractor
ruler
compass
pencils
pens
colored pencils
stapler and staple remover
1 roll masking tape
3 pkgs. of 3 x 5 index cards
1 box of paper clips
2 rolls of scotch tape
1 white out or correction tape
washable magic markers (optional)
one pair large scissors (optional)
